In 2008-2009, Mechanicsburg High School Wrestling finished 5th in the State Tournament Team race with 54 points. Mechanicsburg had 6 state qualifiers, 4 state placers, including 1 state champion. Congratulations to 2009 Ohio Division III 112lb State Champion Bryce Baker, 171lb 4th place finisher Cody Rodgers, 135lb 6th place finisher Brendon Klaus, and 215lb 8th place finisher Josh "The Wookie" Salyers on fantastic seasons. Bryce Baker is Mechanicsburg High School's 2nd State Champion.
